JACKSON COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Cody Busby, of Bryant, Alabama, has been identified as the victim in a Monday morning fatal vehicle crash in Jackson County.
Busby, 36, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Ider early Monday morning.
According to reports, Busby was operating a vehicle on CR-155 in Flat Rock, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway before coming into contact with a substantial tree around 2 a.m. Monday.
Busby was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
