MUSCATINE COUNTY, IA. (THECOUNT) — Alexander Shoppa and Rachel Shoppa, of Muscatine, Iowa, have been identified as the victims in a Sunday night fatal vehicle crash in Muscatine County.
Alex, 50 and 49-year-old Rachel, were both killed in a single-vehicle crash in Fairport Sunday night.

According to reports, the husband and wife were traveling in a Cadillac Escalade SUV on Highway 22 near Monroe Street and the Chart House Bar and Grill in Fairport, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway and rolled over around 8 p.m. Sunday.
Both occupants, who were ejected from the Cadillac, were pronounced dead of blunt force injuries suffered in the wreck.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
