KERSHAW COUNTY, SC. (THECOUNT) — Ronny Michael Layton Jr., of Lugoff, South Carolina, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday night fatal motorcycle crash in Kershaw County.
“Mike” Layton, 57, was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Lugoff Saturday night.
According to reports, Layton was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle on US-601 near Lachicotte Road in Lugoff, when for unknown reasons, the bike went down around 7 p.m. Saturday.
Layton was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
