SANTA FE COUNTY, NM. (THECOUNT) — John Pedroni, of Pecos, New Mexico, has been identified as the victim in a Monday night fatal motorcycle crash in Sante Fe County.
Pedroni, 21, was killed in a two-vehicle motorcycle crash involving a Mazda passenger vehicle Monday night in Santa Fe.
According to reports, Pedroni was operating a motorcycle on Cerrillos Road near St Michaels Drive in Santa Fe, when the bike came into contact with an elderly woman operating the Mazda around 7 p.m. Monday.
The Mazda driver was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.
Pedroni was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries suffered in the collision.
Pedroni posted photos of his bike on Facebook hours before the fatal wreck.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
