JEFFERSON COUNTY, KY. (THECOUNT) — Samuel Richmond, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday night fatal motorcycle crash in Jefferson County.
Sam Richmond, 55, was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Louisville Saturday night.
According to reports, Richmond was operating a Suzuki motorcycle on New Cut Road near Outer Loop in Louisville, when the bike went down for unknown reasons late Saturday night.
Richmond was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries on Sunday morning.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
