FAYETTE COUNTY, KY. (THECOUNT) — Larry Spicer, of Winchester, Kentucky, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday fatal motorcycle crash in Fayette County.
Spicer, 47, was killed in a two-vehicle motorcycle crash in Lexington Wednesday afternoon. The driver of the van was arrested on charges unrelated to the accident.
According to reports, Spicer was operating a motorcycle on 400 block of East New Circle Road in Lexington, when the bike came into contact with a van Wednesday afternoon.
Spicer was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
