JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Paul Williams, of Bessemer, Alabama, has been identified as the victim in a Monday fatal vehicle crash in Jefferson County.
Williams, 31, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Bessemer late Monday afternoon.
According to reports, Williams was operating a Dodge Durango SUV on the 2300 block of Morgan Road in Bessemer, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway before coming into contact with a grouping of trees around 3 p.m. Monday.
Williams was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
