KNOX COUNTY, ME. (THECOUNT) — Connor Lazaro, of Vinalhaven, Maine, has been identified as the victim in a Thursday night fatal vehicle crash in Knox County.
Lazaro, 18, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Vinalhaven Thursday night.
According to reports, Lazaro was operating a Toyota Tundra pickup truck on North Haven Road in Vinalhaven, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 9:30 p.m. Thursday. The vehicle then came into contact with a grouping of trees.
Lazaro was pronounced dead of injuries suffered in the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
