WINNESHIEK COUNTY, IA. (THECOUNT) — Cole Diesburg, of Nashua, Iowa, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday fatal motorcycle crash in Winneshiek County.
Diesburg, 26, was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash Wednesday morning near Decorah.
According to reports, Diesburg was operating a Honda motorcycle on Old Stage Road near Decorah and Waukon, when he lost control in loose gravel and went down around 8 a.m. Wednesday.
Diesburg was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
