RENSSELAER COUNTY, NY. (THECOUNT) — Roberta Kenney, of East Green Bush, has been identified as the victim in a Tuesday night double-fatal pedestrian-versus-vehicle strike in Rensselaer County.
Kenney, 50, was fatally struck along with 88-year-old Rita Buhl, Tuesday night in East Greenbush.
According to reports, the women were on-foot near Kenney’s home at Columbia Turnpike and Phillips Road in East Greenbush, when they were struck by a station wagon around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Both women died of injuries suffered in the collision.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and fully cooperated with arriving authorities.
The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.
