CARBON COUNTY, PA. (THECOUNT) — Nolan Wernett, of Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, has been identified as the victim in a Tuesday morning tree fall accident in Carbon County.
Wernett, 66, died after being struck on the head by a falling tree Tuesday morning in Jim Thorpe.
According to reports, Wernett was in the area of the 1000 block of Broadview Drive in Jim Thorpe, when he was struck by a falling tree around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Wernett was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounce dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
