NEW HAVEN COUNTY, CT. (THECOUNT) — Raymond Sobask, of North Branford, Connecticut, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday fatal motorcycle crash in New Haven County.
Ray Sobask, 22, a former North Branford football player, was killed in a two-vehicle motorcycle crash in New Haven Saturday night.
According to reports, Sobask was operating a motorcycle on Middletown Avenue near Interstate 91 in New Haven, when the bike came into contact with a vehicle around 10:40 p.m. Saturday.
The driver of the vehicle was transported to an area hospital with unknown non-life-threatening injuries.
Sobask was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
No charges have been filed at this time, police said.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
