VINTON COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Casey Jordan, of Albany, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday fatal vehicle crash in Vinton County.
Jordan, 22, was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Swan Township Wednesday morning.
According to report, Jordan was operating a vehicle on OH-93 near Mile Marker 16 in Creola, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes around 6:5- a.m. Wednesday. The vehicle then came into head-on contact with another vehicle.
Jordan was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The other involved driver suffered non-incapacitating injuries and was transported to an area hospital.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
