FAIRFIELD COUNTY, CT. (THECOUNT) — Julian Torres III, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday fatal motorcycle crash in Fairfield County.
Torres, 33, was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Shelton early Sunday morning.
According to reports, Torres was operating a Suzuki GSX-R600 on Route 8 near Exit 12, when for unknown reasons, the bike crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 12:30 a.m. Sunday.
Torres was thrown from the bike after hitting the median and was catapulted into a metal guardrail.
Torres was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
