SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY. (THECOUNT) — Gregory Petriella, of Bellerose, New York, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday fatal motorcycle crash in Suffolk County.
Petriella, 66, died after suffering an unknown medical event while operating a motorcycle in Smithtown Saturday.
According to reports, Petriella was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle in the area of Pulaski Road in Kings Park, when he apparently suffered a media episode. The bike then exited the roadway and wrecked.
Petriella was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
