FAIRFIELD COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Sheila Webster Ruckman, of Thurston, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a Thursday fatal motorcycle crash in fairfield County.
Ruckman, 62, was killed in a two-vehicle motorcycle crash in Walnut Township Thursday morning.
According to reports, Ruckman was operating a Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200 motorcycle on Millersport Road near Canal Road in Millersport, when for unknown reasons, the bike crossed centerlines and came into head-on contact with a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck around 9 a.m. Thursday.
Ruckman was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The driver of the Silverado was not injured in the collision.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
