CLARK COUNTY, NV. (THECOUNT) — Donald Stuart Goldberg and Carol Scanlon, both of Las Vegas, Nevada, have been identified as the victims in a quadruple-fatal mid-air collision plane crash at the North Las Vegas Airport on Sunday.
“Don” Goldberg, 82, and 76-year-old Scanlon, were both killed along with two other unidentified individuals Sunday near North Las Vegas.
The couple were aboard a Piper PA-46 with Goldberg at the controls, when the aircraft came into mid-air contact with a Cessna 172 on Sunday.
Both single-engine aircrafts crashed. There were no survivors.
The Cessna’s two occupants have not yet been identified.
The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board said they were probing the crash.
