JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — A Facebook Fundraiser has been started for young Brandon Linderman, who was identified as the 11-year-old boy killed in a Sunday ATV crash in Jefferson County, Alabama.

Linderman was operating an ATV on the 4000 block of Sicard Hollow Road in Leeds, when he was involved in a wreck on Sunday.

Linderman was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of injuries suffered in the crash.

Leeds Elementary School, where the boy was a student, released the following statement:

“Our LCS family has suffered a great tragedy with the loss of a precious student this weekend. Brandon was an amazing kid who always had a smile on his face and kindness in his heart.”

Further information surrounding the crash were not provided. It is being investigated by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s office.
