PEORIA COUNTY, IL. (THECOUNT) — Jahiem Welch, of Peoria, Illinois, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday fatal triple-shooting in Peoria County.
Welch, 18, was killed in a shooting that injured two other individuals Saturday afternoon.

According to reports, police respond to a call of shots fired Saturday afternoon in Peoria. When they arrived, Welch and two others were found suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Welch was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.
The condition of the other involved individuals was not provided.
