NJ Man Tom Gibson ID’d As Pilot Killed In Saturday Cape May Plane Crash

CAPE MAY COUNTY, NJ. (THECOUNT) — Thomas Gibson, of Ocean City, New Jersey, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday fatal plane crash in Cape May County.

Tom Gibson, 23, was killed in a while piloting a small plane near Cape May Court House Saturday morning.

According to reports, officials responded to reports of a small plane crash near Paramount Airfield on Route 47 around 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

Gibson was later identified as the sole occupant of the aircraft. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The NTSB and FAA are working to determine the cause of the crash.
