DOUGLAS COUNTY, NE. (THECOUNT) — Tabitha Kay Barker of Omaha, Nebraska, has been identified as the victim in a Thursday night fatal motorcycle crash in Douglas County.
Barker, 53, was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Omaha Thursday night.
According to reports, Barker was operating a Yamaha YZF-R6 motorcycle with a group of riders, when the bike traveled off the ramp and went down on Interstate 80 near the 108th Street exit in Omaha around 6:46 p.m. Thursday.
Barker was transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
