WESTMORELAND COUNTY, PA. (THECOUNT) — David James Ott of Perryopolis, Pennsylvania, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday vehicle crash in Westmoreland County.
Ott, 25, was killed in a two-vehicle crash near South Huntingdon Township early Sunday.
According to reports, Ott was operating a vehicle in Interstate 70 near Yukon, when a vehicle driving the wrong-way, came into contact with Ott’s vehicle just after midnight Sunday.
The wrong-way driver was transported to an area hospital in unknown condition.
Ott was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
Charges in the crash may be possible pending blood-alcohol content results.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
