ALBANY COUNTY, NY. (THECOUNT) — Fredrick Lewis Franko, of Colonie lake, New York, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Tuesday motorcycle crash in Albany County.
Franko, 64, was killed Tuesday morning in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash near Colonie.

According to reports, Franko was operating a motorcycle on Route 5 near Spruce Street in Colonie, when the bike went down possibly after losing control while crossing a storm grate.
Franco was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
