SUMTER COUNTY, SC. (THECOUNT) — Senior Airman Devin McDonald, of Dalzell, South Carolina, has been identified as the victim in an overnight fatal Sumter County vehicle crash.
McDonald, 25, who was stationed at Shaw Air Force Base, was killed in a vehicle crash near Sumter early Sunday.
According to reports, the U.S. Air Force Airman was killed while operating a vehicle on the 2100 block of Thomas Sumter Highway in Sumter around 2 a.m.
McDonald was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
No further details of the crash were immediately provided by officials as of Sunday afternoon.
