NORFOLK COUNTY, MA. (THECOUNT) — David McConnell of Revere, Massachusetts, has been identified as the security guard killed overnight in an apparent fall at The Country Club in Norfolk County.
McConnell, 60, was killed while working at the golf course in Chestnut Hill after falling while on-duty early Wednesday morning.
According to reports, McConnell was working as a security guard at the Country Club, when he apparently fell from a decking area behind a tent. Official said there were no railings present.
McConnell was discovered by co-workers later Wednesday morning. Initial information indicates that he had been working an overnight security shift at the site.
The golf course is located at, 191 Clyde Street in Chestnut Hill.
The Medical Examiner has accepted the case and will determine an official cause and manner of death.
The incident remains under investigation.
