NIAGARA COUNTY, NY. (THECOUNT) — Richard Howes III, of Lockport, New York, has been identified as the pedestrian in a fatal Friday night double-vehicle strike in Niagara County.
‘Dick’ Howes, 25, died after he was struck by a pair of vehicle near Lockport Friday night.
According to reports, Howes was on-foot crossing the road in the area of S Transit Rd near W High St in Lockport, when he was struck by two vehicles around 8 p.m. Friday.
Howes was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
According to online postings, Howes had celebrated his 25th birthday on March 13.
