ANDREWS COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — A van carrying members of the University of the Southwest golf team were involved in a major fatality crash in Texas on Tuesday night. At least 7 members of the team, including the coach, were killed.

The van crash occurred in Andrews County, Texas, as the team traveled home after competing in Texas.

According to reports, the van was carrying members of both the men’s and women’s golf teams, when the vehicle came into contact with a Ford F-150 pickup truck Tuesday night.

Two students were airlifted to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. Officials have not announced any additional details surrounding the crash, reports TMZ.
