SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA. (THECOUNT) — Tina Ward has been identified as one of four individuals killed in a business jet crash in San Diego, California on Tuesday.
Ward, the wife of recently retired Oceanside Fire Chief Joe Ward, was killed along with three other people following a Learjet 35A crash near San Diego Tuesday.
According to reports, the jet was carrying two pilots and two flight nurses. The victims were heading back to their home base after flying a patient from Arizona when the crash occurred.
The plane was carrying two pilots and two nurses on a return flight to Gillespie Field after taking a patient to Orange County from Arizona.
The names of the other three victims have not yet emerged.
