CENTRE COUNTY, PA. (THECOUNT) — Justine Gross, the Penn State student reported missing Thursday, has been found dead.
Gross, 19, was not named by officials as the body discovered, however, the university and family members have since done so.
Police said early indications are the sophomore’s death was accidental, but stopped short of providing a cause of death.
It was not immediately clear where Gross was found.
State College police are continuing to investigate.
Authorities urged anyone with possible information on the incident to contact State College Police at 814-234-7150 or via email at police@statecollegepa.us or through an anonymous tip website.
