MARION COUNTY, KS. (THECOUNT) — Latricia Phillips and Angela Daniels, both of Wichita, Kansas, have been identified as the victims in a Sunday double-fatal vehicle crash in Marion County.
Phillips and Daniels, both 49, were killed in a two-vehicle crash near Peabody Sunday night.
According to reports, the women were traveling in an SUV on US-50 near Peabody, when the vehicle came into contact with a pickup truck around 5 p.m. Sunday.
The driver of the pickup was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.
Phillips and Daniels both died in the crash. A third occupant of the SUV was transported to an area hospital with serious unknown injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
