BEDFORD COUNTY, VA. (THECOUNT) — Robin Hayslett and Aquiles Amparan, both of Bedford, Virginia, have been identified as the two drivers killed in a Tuesday night vehicle crash in Bedford County.
Hayslett, whose age was not provided, and 57-year-old Amparan, were both killed in a two-vehicle crash near Bedford.
According to reports, Hayslett was operating a Honda Accord on Route 122 near Route 878 in Bedford, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes around 10:40 p.m. Tuesday. The vehicle then came into head-on contact with a Toyota Scion operated by Amparan.
Both drivers were pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
