BOONE COUNTY, IN. (THECOUNT) — Christopher Harris of Crawfordsville, Indiana, has been identified as the victim in a Friday morning fatal vehicle crash in Boone County.
Harris, 23, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Jefferson Township early Friday morning.
According to reports, Harris was operating a Nissan passenger vehicle on East 300th North near County Road 1200 West in Thorntown, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 2:45 am.m Friday. The vehicle then made contact with a substantial tree.
Harris was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
