ALLEN COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Curtis Sims, of Medina, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Monday afternoon 3-wheel motorcycle crash in Allen County.
Sims, 66, was killed in a single-vehicle trike crash in American Township on Monday afternoon.
According to reports, Sims was operating a Honda Goldwing Trike on North Cole Street in Lima, when for unknown reasons, the trike crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 1:30 p.m. Monday. The trike then entered a culvert and rolled over.
Sims was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
