LEAVENWORTH COUNTY, KS. (THECOUNT) — William Guthrie, of Tonganoxie, Kansas, has been identified as the victim in a Tuesday morning fatal motorcycle crash in Leavenworth County.
Guthrie, 34, was killed in a two-vehicle motorcycle crash involving a dump truck near Tonganoxie Tuesday.
According to reports, Guthrie was operating a Yamaha FZS motorcycle on Highway 24 near Stone Creek Drive in Tonganoxie, when they bike came into contact with a dump truck, operated by Brad Mosbrucker, 45, of Topeka, around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Mosbrucker was not injured in the collision.
Guthrie was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
