CHEROKEE COUNTY, SC. (THECOUNT) — Steven Kyle Prince, of Gaffney, South Carolina, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday fatal motorcycle collision in Cherokee County.
Prince, 34, was killed in a multi-vehicle crash near Gaffney Sunday morning.
According to reports, Prince was operating a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle on Ellis Ferry Road near Oak Ridge Road in Gaffney, when the bike came into contact with a Kia passenger vehicle around 5 p.m. Sunday.
The operator of a second motorcycle involved in the collision was transported to an area hospital with unknown non-life threatening injuries.
Prince was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
An autopsy on Prince is scheduled for Tuesday.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
