HARTFORD COUNTY, CT. (THECOUNT) — Ryan Dowling, of East Hartford, Connecticut, has been identified as the victim in a fatal overnight shooting in Hartford County.
Dowling, 27, was killed in a shooting near East Hartford early Friday morning.
According to reports, police responded to a call of shots fired after midnight at the Malibu Sports Bar and Lounge, located at, 808 Silver Lane in East Hartford. When they arrived, Dowling was found suffering from apparent gunshot wounds in the parking lot area.
Dowling was transported him to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead of a gunshot wound to the neck.
Witnesses told police two black men fled the area in a dark-colored sedan.
The suspect were described as black males in their 20s and wearing all black. One male was described as tall with a muscular build; the second was described as shorter with short dreadlocks.
