PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL. (THECOUNT) — Efren Rocha, of Lake Worth, Florida, has been identified as the victim in a Thursday night fatal hit-and-run vehicle-versus-bicycle collision in Palm Beach County.
Rocha, 56, was killed when he was struck by a hit-and-run vehicle while traveling on a bicycle in Greenacres Thursday night.
According to reports, Rocha was operating a bicycle on the 5100 block of Lake Worth Road in Greenacres, when the bike came into contact with a pickup truck around 10:50 p.m. Thursday night. The pickup then fled the scene.
Rocha was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
Witnesses described the pickup as a full-size, four-door truck.
