GENESEE COUNTY, MI. (THECOUNT) — Daria Hill and Decarlo Key, of Flint, Michigan, have been identified as the adult victims in a Thursday house fire in Genesee County.

Hill and Key, both 51, were killed in an early Thursday morning house fire that injured several others, including children, in Flint.

According to reports, first responders arrived at a house fire in the 300 block of Burroughs Avenue around 5 a.m. Thursday.

Hill and Key were later found deceased inside the residence.

58-year-old Pamela Lockhart was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.

Two young boys escaped the fire and were treated at the hospital for smoke inhalation.

Michigan State Police fire investigators are working with Flint Police Department detectives to determine how the fire started. Flint police say the cause does not appear suspicious, but the investigation is ongoing.
