PIMA COUNTY, AZ. (THECOUNT) — Leslie Stephen Scarlett, of Tucson, Arizona, has been identified as the suspect in a mass shooting and house fire in Pima County on Sunday.
Scarlett, 35, is facing multiple charges in connection with the shooting and house fire in Tucson on Sunday.
According to reports, Scarlett conducted a mass shooting and sparked a house fire near South Campbell Avenue and East Irene Vista in Tucson, that left at least two people dead on Sunday around 3:45 p.m.
Scarlett is in currently in an area local hospital in extremely critical condition.
Scarlett has a criminal history that includes a 2007 conviction for an attempted armed robbery. He was sentenced to six years and was released in August 2013, according to the Arizona Department of Corrections.
