EDMONSON COUNTY, KY. (THECOUNT) — Kristopher Burden, of Leitchfield, Kentucky, has been identified as the suspect killed in a motorcycle crash Thursday during a police pursuit in Edmonson County.
Burden, 34, was killed while fleeing police on a motorcycle near Bee Spring on Thursday afternoon.
According to reports, Burden was operating an alleged stolen motorcycle around 1 p.m. Thursday, when police initiated a traffic stop. Burden fled the scene, and at some point, wrecked in the 2500 block of Sunfish Bee Spring Road in Bee Spring.
Burden was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
An investigation into the deadly incident remains ongoing.
