Missing Utah Woman Masako Kenley Found Dead After Car Found At Sandy Costco

SANDY, UTAH. (THECOUNT) — According to the Sandy Police Department, missing woman, Masako Kenley, was found dead late Sunday night.

Kenley was last seen in the area of 7134 South and 700 East in Midvale on Friday afternoon. Her vehicle was later located at a Costco parking lot at 11100 South Auto Mall Drive in Sandy on Saturday.

The Sandy Police Department has located Masako Kenley deceased along the Jordan River near 8900 South 700 West. The persistent work of detectives led to a search of the area along the Jordan River where Mrs. Kenley was found. Rocky Mountain Rescue Dogs, Inc. assisted with the search which was pivotal in locating Mrs. Kenley due to the thick brush and heavily wooded area.

The Sandy Police Department is thankful for the numerous volunteers that organized and initiated the searches and dissemination of information to the public in this case.
