LINCOLN COUNTY, WV. (THECOUNT) — Frank Early, a Herbert Hoover High School student athlete, who graduated last Monday, has been identified as the victim in a Friday night fatal vehicle crash in Lincoln County.
Early, 18, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Griffithsville Friday night.
According to reports, Early was operating a vehicle on Garrett’s Bend Road near Griffithsville, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 7:15 p.m. Friday. The vehicle then made contact with a substantial tree.
Early, a Herbert Hoover Football player, was killed in the crash.
He was among the seniors who graduated from the school on Monday.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
