WATAUGA COUNTY, NC. (THECOUNT) — Sgt. Chris Ward and Deputy Logan Fox of the Watauga County Sheriff’s Office, have been identified as the victims in a deadly standoff that left a total of five people dead.
The suspect, who was not immediately identified, was also killed. As were the suspect’s parents.
The Watauga County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that five people were killed in a standoff in Watauga County.
No further information was provided as of Thursday morning.
