WALTON COUNTY, GA. (THECOUNT) — Alfred G. King Sr., of Monroe, Georgia, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Tuesday vehicle crash in Walton County.
King, 49, ws killed in a two-vehicle crash near Monroe Tuesday night.
According to reports, King was operating a Dodge Ram pickup truck on Highway 11 near Pleasant Valley Road in Monroe, when the vehicle came into contact with a Kia Sorento, operated by Mary Davis, 60, of Mansfield, around 5:20 p.m. Tuesday. The Ram then exited the roadway and rolled over.
King was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
Davis was not injured.
No one was cited at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
