HERKIMER COUNTY, NY. (THECOUNT) — Connie Powers, of Ohio, New York, has been identified as the suspect in a Wednesday fatal shooting of her husband, Timothy Powers, in Herkimer County.
Powers, 49, is accused in the fatal shooting her husband at a home near Ohio, New York, Wednesday night.

According to reports, police responded to a residence, located at 1827 State Route 365 in Cold Brook, around 11 p.m. on reports of shots fired. When they arrived, police determined Connie Powers fatally shot her husband, Tim, during a domestic dispute.
Connie Powers is charged with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
The cause of the fatal incident remains under investigation.
