WAPELLO COUNTY, IA. (THECOUNT) — Griselda Lizbet Chavez Pazcual, of Ottumwa, Iowa, has been identified as the victim of a fatal Sunday morning vehicle crash in Wapello County.
Pazcual, 21, was killed in a two-vehicle crash involving a semi-tractor near Ottumwa early Sunday morning.
According to reports, Pazcual was operating a Jeep Liberty on West 2nd Street near Harrows Branch in Ottumwa, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes around 1 a.m. Sunday.
Pazcual was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
80-year-old truck driver, Wayne Deen Waters, of Blakesburg, was uninjured in the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
