ST LOUIS COUNTY, MO. (THECOUNT) — Dominique Hicks, of North County, Missouri, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday morning fatal vehicle crash in St. Louis County.
Hicks, 29, was killed in a single-vehicle crash that also injured a man and a toddler early Saturday morning.
According to reports, an unidentified 28-year-old man operating a Chrysler PT Cruiser on Riverview Boulevard near Halls Ferry Circle, failed to observe a posted stop sign, struck a curb, went airborne and made contact with a grouping of trees around 12:30 a.m. Saturday.
The driver and a toddler in the vehicle were transported to an area hospital with serious unknown injuries.
Hicks, also a passenger, was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
