ST TAMMANY PARISH, LA. (THECOUNT) — Dustin Dykes, of Bush, Louisiana, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Saturday night vehicle crash in St. Tammany Parish.
Dykes, 25, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Abita Springs Saturday night.
According to reports, Dyles was operating a Toyota Tundra on LA-435 near LA-36, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 11 p.m. Saturday. The vehicle then made contact with an embankment at a private residence. The impact caused the Toyota to go airborne before making contact with a utility pole.
Dykes was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
