DETROIT, MI. (THECOUNT) — Cliff Woodards, a longtime defense attorney in Detroit-area courts, has been identified as the victim in a Monday vehicle crash involving a police cruiser.
Woodards, 58, was killed after a vehicle he was operating was involved in a crash with Detroit police early Monday morning.
According to reports, Woodards was operating a vehicle when his car was struck by a police vehicle traveling with siren and lights activated early Monday.
Injured officers were transported to an area hospital.
Woodards was killed in the wreck.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
