JACKSON COUNTY, MS. (THECOUNT) — Mario Alanis Jr., of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday night vehicle crash in Jackson County.
Alanis, 21, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Ocean Springs Sunday night.
According to reports, Alanis was operating a vehicle on Biddix-Evans Road Central in Ocean Springs, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 5 p.m. Sunday. The vehicle then traveled down an embankment before making contact with a tree and rolling over.
Alanis was pronounced deceased at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
